Our 40mm plum slate chippings are recycled in the UK from the roofing industry. The plum colour has a striking, bold appearnce. The flat, angular shape of the slate also provides a stylish modern look and helps to stop water drying up in borders and planters whilst still allowing water to pass through for plants and wildlife. Due to plum slate being a naturally quarried product, there may be slight variations in formation, size, colour or shape - including a natural green vein.
